Is a smartphone required to use Budi?
While the booking process is online, a cellphone or smart device is not required to use Budi. Caregivers are welcome to book on behalf of a loved one, even when they have a landline or basic cellular device.

What's the cost?
Since every booking is unique, a cost estimate is provided prior to booking confirmation. Once booked, a credit card preauthorization will be credited for an amount slightly higher than your booking estimate. Actual charges may be less than the preauthorization and are determined by the amount of time required to complete your booking.

What if I need to cancel?
Budi has a no-questions-asked cancellation policy. Simply cancel your booking using the on-screen prompts with no penalties or charges. Once cancelled, the preauthorization placed on your credit card will be removed in 3-5 business days.

Budi is currently providing senior transportation and assistance services in Seattle and King County, WA and San Antonio, TX. Our booking process is powered by in-browser location services and will determine if you are in our service area.

Budi operates Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm.
Can I get last-minute help?
Yes! All of our senior transportation and assistance services are available with same-day bookings. Available bookings for Seattle or San Antonio are shown when booking, including same-day and last-minute availability.

Budi was founded by Daniel Sarfati and Noah Loudon after their families struggled to keep up with the everyday demands of caregiving for aging parents. They are on a mission to create a new class of senior care - a trusted companion to handle transportation, errands, household chores, and more. Or more simply, a Budi.

Noah got his first sales job at age 15 and has always enjoyed working with people. After graduating from University of Washington, he enjoyed a decade working as an account executive. In his spare time, Noah enjoys cooking, music production, skiiing, and golf.
